Zack Davie named season 18 rider of the season

  Victoria's Zack Davie was last night presented with the Cadel Evans Medal after being named the season 18 Australian Cyclist of the season at a black tie function at Sydney's Opera House attended by a host of Australia's cycling stars. Star's which included last years winner Goddard Scothern, Oliver Mattingley, Errol Coventry, Casper Jill, Fenton Sommers and old warhorse Ian Defley.
  In season 18 Davie notched up 4 victories riding for his team NECFTW. His wins included two iconic classics Alpe d`Huez Classic and Zürich-Bern-Zürich, he also had a stage win in the inaugaral tour Vuelta de los Castillos.
  "This is a massive honour and I have a lot of people to thank - firstly my manager Noppes and everyone that's been involved since the start of my career, and also my team-mates on NECFTW squad," said Davie
